Me and Tahir were controling most the editing as we had general knowledge and somewhat knowledge of editing in the past.
Tahir used our idea of having a quick opening sequence and made a rough draft edit of the video.
We used Final Cut Pro as we had more knowledge of using this software for the opening sequence.
We both sat down and edited the first few seconds of the music video. We then brough the opening sequence to college.
We showed our teachers and peers and gained relevant feedback which will then be of benefit to us. We knew that this was only a rough copy just to show of some of our ideas on screen.
We know that we will have a much better final copy!

Editing Day 1
Our whole group sat down together and planned all the editing. As I was particularly keen on adding a 'out of the box' type of editing and flow to the music video, I showed the group 'urban' music videos which had specific editing techniques which appealed to me.
I had one main intention behind my head; "to make a music video which is unique and has a different touch to it". We watched quite a few more music videos together so we were sure that everyone was on the same boat; this meaning that everyone would be happy with the editing and specific parts of the editing. We all came to mutual agreements with specific techniques we propose to use.

Main elements and editing techniques which appealed to me from this music video was the fast cuts and movie flaires used within the video. I also liked the different angles used and how a minor narrative is also used to help connote some of the messages given out by the artist.

Main elements and editing techniques which appealed to me from this music video was the camera movement and the typography. It came across very intresting and appealing the way the camera moves around and gives it the 'urban' effect to it. I loved the fact that the typography was used to stress specific words.

Main elements and editing techniques which appealed to me from this music video was the camera movement, the typography, as well as the editing. The typography in this video causes a wow responce from the audience. However, I realised this is very ambitious to use in our music video as it would take ages to render. I loved the slow and quick cuts and other transitions used. It was visually appealing; the use of the colour correction.
